Angélica Villarreal Charris

Angélica emigrated from Colombia to Germany in 2001 to pursue her studies in Political Science and later Masters in International Relations of the European Union in Belgium, which led her to work in the political and public relations fields. As a mom* of two in Berlin, Angie knows struggles and loneliness that migrant mothers* face, and blogs about it over at Mutti Angie - Stories of an expat mom*. Currently, she is in a process of professional reinvention, with a focus on female* and mater*nal empowerment.

Karla, is a Chilean political scientist with a Master of Arts in Democracy and Civil Society from Osnabrück University. She is an eco-feminist activist living in Germany since 2014. As mother*, she’s experienced how challenging it is to be an international parent in a multilingual home.
